harmony korine is like that pervy guy who went to your art school that you hear about from time to time thru mutual friends. good or bad he’s not going anywhere, looks like this time is good for everyone. For one, I am into James Franco with cornrows, AND hot pink horses so bring it on:

wonderful day at the Met
Loved visiting the Met With Coral Silverman & Tommy Zimmerman yesterday. Coral captured the beauty in the above photo of this faberge lily of the valley: can you believe the leaves are carved out of jade? Just teensy weensy & lovely.
The Waiting Room Japan
During the New City Art Fair, I visited the Waiting Room Gallery from Tokyo’s booth at the hprgrp gallery in Chelsea. Among the variety of fascinating works of art, I fell in love with the work of Shoko Morita.
Her work looks like it is created from dream and fantasy at the first glance, however, it is depicted from the edge of everyday life as well. It is a preface of her creation that she goes back and forth between dream and reality so that there is nostalgia in fantasia and braveness existed in her work.

Great to see an artist of his stature articulate his work & its effect on the audience so well.
Beautiful Artwork
I love visiting the Hakimi Milavec gallery, because the quality of work they show is amazing. Look at this gorgeous rendering of a rooftop view from Silvercup Studios, above, and a pensive yet warm autumn naturalscape, below.
