My Hurrication with Jessica Hagedorn

While upstate, I picked up the new novel Toxicology by Jessica Hagedorn.  So far, it’s a departure from her 70’s San Francisco post-beat poetry.  I’m confident her voice and artistic passion will carry me through the lameness of being cooped up in a luxury estate in Rhinebeck and having no viable means of transit back to my life in NY (Fashion Week, who cares?).

She is one of the best living writers that I’ve ever read, and I suggest you buy your own copy here.  Thank you Jessica, for having an authentic voice and continuing to make amazing work!
