some of you might know about my special ability to run into former roommates from other coasts, college mates from years past, or people who i knew from forgotten jobs, totally randomly, on a sometimes weekly basis. Good or bad: no matter how much I bounce from one place to the next, people seem to stick to me like glue.
Here’s an example of a good glue. Sarah Miller wrote an anecdote about a pointillism I did in high school art class, and you can read it here. I remember this children’s book at the library where we worked together that inspired me. It was the fact that if Jon O. could express such pure joy, that I too could be happy with my life.
I can’t believe you found that already — I’ve been meaning to send you a link all week!
